IMPACT–CDAD provides a 360˚ approach to the threat posed by C. difficile. Educational activities are offered to physicians, pharmacists, and nurses in keeping with the multidisciplinary team that spearheads prevention and manages patients with CDAD. A full complement of delivery vehicles includes a dedicated website, live meeting, live webcast, and newsletters. In order to provide consistent and uniform information, the live meeting/live webcast is the cornerstone of IMPACT–CDAD. All initiative content is derived from this meeting, and the information presented at the meeting was prepared by a panel of esteemed experts in the field. We understand that you as an adult learner and healthcare professional have stringent demands on your time and unique educational needs. As a result, providing important information at regular intervals in different, interactive formats is key. A year-long initiative offers multiple activities that provide accurate and updated information. After the live activities have taken place, the webcast will be available as a Webcast On Demand. In addition, responses from completed evaluation forms from both the live meeting and live webcast will be presented in an innovative Report Back to the Audience.
