IMPACT–CDAD is an interdisciplinary, educational initiative that aims to increase awareness of unmet medical needs in the prevention and treatment of CDAD in hospitals and other healthcare settings. Educational activities—live meeting, webcast, and newsletter—are offered to physicians, pharmacists, and nurses, the multidisciplinary team that spearheads infection prevention and control and manages patients with CDAD.

This year-long initiative begins with a live meeting of national and regional experts in Columbus, Ohio. The meeting, which will be broadcast live as a webcast, is the cornerstone of the initiative. The webcast will be available to learners after the meeting as a Webcast On Demand. In addition, responses from completed evaluation forms from both the live meeting and live webcast will be presented in an innovative Report Back to the Audience. Participants will also have a chance to learn about specific issues and management strategies through newsletters. More information on all of these educational activities is available on this website.
